  • 1 pound flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in soy sauce and cornstarch for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated steak until browned, then remove from the pan.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot; cook until just tender.
  5. Incorporate the shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
  6. Return the steak to the pan, mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds.
