  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese (or Gorgonzola for milder flavor)
  • ¼ cup toasted walnuts (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash the pears and slice them in half lengthwise, removing the cores.
  3. In a bowl, combine melted butter and lemon juice; dip each pear half in this mixture.
  4. Place pear halves cut side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with blue cheese and walnuts.
  5. Drizzle honey over each pear half.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until tender and golden brown.
