  • ¼ cup (4 tablespoons) salted butter
  • ½ cup vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ⅓½ cup heavy cream (to preference)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions
