  • 12 slider rolls (Hawaiian or brioche)
  • 1.5 lbs thinly sliced chicken
  • 1 lb Swiss cheese (sliced)
  • ½ cup dill pickle slices
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice
  • Optional: poppy seeds and fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter and stir in minced garlic, pickle seasoning, and pickle juice.
  3. Grease the bottom of a baking dish with some garlic pickle butter mixture.
  4. Keeping the rolls connected, slice them in half horizontally and place the bottom half in the dish.
  5. Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a bowl; spread on the cut side of the top half of the rolls.
  6. Layer chicken slices, Swiss cheese, and dill pickles on the bottom layer before placing the top layer back on.
  7. Brush remaining garlic pickle butter over the tops and sprinkle with poppy seeds if desired.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for about 10 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before slicing apart; garnish with fresh parsley.
