  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk (warmed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • For the frosting: 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk until cozy but not boiling; combine it with yeast and let it activate.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add in the yeast mixture along with melted butter and eggs; knead until smooth.
  3. Cover and let rise until doubled in size (about an hour).
  4. Mix crushed Oreos with cinnamon and brown sugar for the filling.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling evenly, then roll up and slice into pieces.
  6. Place cut rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise again for about 20 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Prepare frosting by mixing cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
