  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups cooked white rice, brown rice, or quinoa
  • 1 cup broccoli florets

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and curled.
  3. Pour the honey garlic mixture into the skillet, stirring gently for about 2 minutes until the shrimp are well coated.
  4. Steam or sauté broccoli until bright green.
  5. To serve, place rice or quinoa in bowls, top with shrimp and sauce, add broccoli, and garnish with green onions.
