  • 3–4 cups vegetable broth
  • Black pepper to taste

  2. Stir in cubed butternut squash and cook for another 8–10 minutes until lightly browned.
  3. Add garlic, sage, rosemary, and ginger; cook for another 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in vegetable broth (adjust to desired thickness) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 25 minutes until squash is tender.
  5. Let cool slightly before blending until smooth; adjust seasoning if needed.
