  • 1 (16-ounce) jar dill pickle slices
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Heat about ½ inch of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 350–375°F.
  2. Drain the pickle slices and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together flour, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and pepper. Gradually mix in water until you have a smooth batter.
  4. Coat each pickle slice in the batter, then dip into panko breadcrumbs until fully covered.
  5. Carefully fry the pickles in batches for 1–2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
