  • 1½ tbsp oil (vegetable, canola, or peanut)
  • 500g beef mince
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 4 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • Rice or noodles for serving
  • Green onion and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Firecracker Sauce by mixing soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, brown sugar, chili flakes, and water in a bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over high heat and cook the beef mince until browned (about 2½ minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic and chili flakes; cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in the prepared sauce; stir well and let it caramelize for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Serve over rice or noodles; garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and fresh veggies.
