  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 long English cucumber (thinly sliced)
  • 1 loaf sliced bread (crusts removed)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth. Mix in dill, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread the creamy mixture generously on slices of bread. Layer cucumber slices on half of the bread slices.
  3. Top each cucumber layer with another slice of bread and cut off the crusts. Slice into small pieces and serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
