  • 1 ounce package taco seasoning
  • 15 ounces black beans (drained)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese (cubed)
  • ½ red onion (diced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon spicy brown mustard
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until nearly cooked through. Add taco seasoning and black beans; stir to combine.
  3. Allow the cooked beef mixture to cool slightly before adding it to the salad.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together dressing ingredients until smooth.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled pasta, beef mixture, cherry tomatoes, cheese cubes, red onion, and green bell pepper.
