  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese
  • 3/8 cup Frank's RedHot sauce

  1. Freeze chicken breast for 30-45 minutes for easier slicing.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F. Butter the insides of hoagie rolls and sprinkle with garlic powder; place on a baking sheet.
  3. Thinly slice and chop the firm chicken; season with garlic powder and salt.
  4. In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat; sauté onions (and jalapeños if using) until softened.
  5. Bake hoagie rolls for about 5 minutes until lightly toasted.
