  • 23 pieces ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix mashed ripe bananas with granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick. Spread melted butter over it and sprinkle with additional brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll tightly into a log and slice into 8 equal pieces. Place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Prepare the cream cheese glaze by mixing softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  7. Drizzle the glaze over warm rolls before serving.
