Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp minced fresh ginger
  • 1 (397g) bag coleslaw
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 16 wonton wrappers
  • Sweet chili sauce, for serving
  • Chopped cilantro, for serving
  • Sesame seeds, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray or brush wonton wrappers with oil and drape them over the sides of a baking dish. Bake for 7-8 minutes until pliable, then pull apart and bake for another 7-8 minutes until golden brown.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together your diced chicken with hoisin sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Heat a large skillet over high heat and sauté this mixture for about 7-8 minutes. Toss frequently until everything is cooked through.
  3. While your chicken is cooking, prepare the slaw by mixing coleslaw ingredients in a separate bowl—this includes green onions along with sesame oil, rice vinegar, and honey. Toss everything together until well combined.
  4. Take your crispy wonton shells and fill them generously with the warm chicken mixture. Top each taco with a hearty scoop of slaw. Drizzle sweet chili sauce over everything and sprinkle with chopped cilantro and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
